As a computer use most of us will experience virus or spyware attack by running untested or unknown program we have downloaded somewhere on the internet.
Sandboxie is a great program you could use to actually test your program and run your web browser securely. It will create a virtual space for you to run the application so that it will prevent the program or application to make permanant changes to you Pc.
Seeing is believing I have been using the Sandboxie for a while and is really a great program to use .
A few things I have been using Sandboxie for:
-Web surfing using the virtual space and after finish browsing,I will delete the content on the sandbox thus very secure browsing experience.
- PPstream is a great china P2P video streaming application, but bad things the program does is it will create a large tem file when is streaming the video.Hence every time I stream a video it will occupy my a couple gig of my hard disk space. With Sandboxie is really a saver after each session of streaming I would delete of the virtual space thus saving my precious hdd space.
-Testing an a untested program for virus.Run a untested application and it will list down files it created and use. After this you scan the file with an antivirus to see whether is a virus or Trojan program.
So enjoy the program that I have enjoy very much.

Spybot - Search & Destroy Remove Spyware And Threats
Spybot - Search & Destroy detects and removes spyware, a relatively new kind of threat not yet covered by common anti-virus applications. Spyware silently tracks your surfing behaviour to create a marketing profile for you that is transmitted without your knowledge to the compilers and sold to advertising companies. If you see new toolbars in your Internet Explorer that you haven't intentionally installed, if your browser crashes inexplicably, or if your home page has been "hijacked" (or changed without your knowledge), your computer is most probably infected with spyware. Even if you don't see the symptoms, your computer may be infected, because more and more spyware is emerging. Spybot-S&D is free, so there's no harm giving it a try to see if something has invaded your computer.
Spybot was written by the German software engineer Patrick Michael Kolla, and is distributed by Kolla's Irish company Safer Networking Limited. Development began in 2000 when Kolla, still a student, wrote a small program to deal with the Aureate/Radiate and Conducent TimeSink programs, two of the earliest examples of adware.
Spybot features
Spybot-S&D can fix problems with system internals (Registry), Winsock LSPs, ActiveX objects, browser hijackers and BHOs, and can to some extent protect a user's privacy by deleting usage tracks like tracking cookies. Spybot also includes an "Immunize" feature to block the installation of spyware before it occurs e.g. by modifying the hosts file. Another tool included in Spybot is a file shredder, for the secure deletion of files. Spybot is not intended to replace anti-virus programs, but it does detect some common trojans.
Spybot-S&D also recently added an anti-rootkit function.[2]
The TeaTimer module can be optionally enabled, providing a level of active, real-time protection from undesirable registry changes and the like.
Some programs ship with attached spyware or adware and refuse to run when the undesired co-programs are removed; newer versions of Spybot replace the spyware binaries with inert dummies (designed to fool programs which require the spyware's presence).
In order to efficiently detect recently created programs, detection updates are released weekly along with other improvements such as added languages and better heuristics algorithms. These updates are downloaded from within the software from a variety of mirrors and are then automatically installed.
Spybot-S&D is available for all versions of Windows from Windows 95, and offers more than two dozen different languages and several skins to users. Instructions are available on the website to enable users to design their own skins.
Technical support is currently supplied by means of Internet forums[3]and support e-mails (with a usual response time of no more than 24 hours).
Why wait ! secure your computer, remove spy ware and Trojan, detect root kit and have ease of your mind while browsing your computer.

Hope You find this useful! I' have been using it for About 2 years plus and it solve most of my spyware issue .
Golden Rule :Please keep your spybot program updated frequently : )

Analogx Dns Fast Cache:Improve Your Web Browsing And Network Throughput By Improving DNS Response Time
Program And Information Needed.
ANALOGX FAST CACHE: http://www.analogx.com/contents/download/network/fc.htm
OPENDNS: http://www.opendns.com/
OPENDNS SERVER: 208.67.222.222 and 208.67.220.220
DNS - Domain Name Server/Service is a service that translates domain names into IP addresses. Because domain names are alphabetic, they’re easier to remember. The Internet however, is really based on IP addresses. Every time you use a domain name, therefore, a DNS service must translate the name into the corresponding IP address. The DNS system is its own network. If one DNS server doesn’t know how to translate a particular domain name, it asks another one, and so on, until the correct IP address is returned.
In fact, your ISP DNS server isn’t always that reliable. Perhaps you should really try on OpenDNS and FastCache .
OpenDNS helps you navigate the Internet in a safer, faster, smarter and more reliable way. No need to download and doesn’t replace your existing Internet connection, it just makes it better. It’s pretty simple by just changing your currently ISP’s DNS to the preferred DNS and gives you more reliable internet connection. Please feel free to drop by.
At it’s core, FastCache really is a simple caching DNS proxy server - it speeds up your browsing by caching Web site domain addresses which sits between programs on your computer accessing the Internet and the DNS servers that map domain names to IP addresses. This means the first time you go to a certain domain/website, it takes the normal amount of time to look up the domain name, but each subsequent time you return should be instant (as long as it remains in the cache). But what good is saving a FRACTION of a second!?!? In and of itself, not of much value at all, but the beauty of DNS is that you don’t normally just make a couple of requests a day - with normal browsing you can literally make hundreds of requests, and that starts to add up.

:::Configuring your computer:::
Configuring your computer to send requests through FastCache involves changing your networks settings.
1. Open the “Control Panel”
2. Doubleclick on “Network Connections”
3. Rightclick on the connection and choose “Properties”
4. Select “Internet Protocol (TCP/IP)” and click “Properties” on the General tab
5. Turn ON “Use the following DNS server addresses”
6. Set the preferred address to 127.0.0.1
IMPORTANT STEP:
7. Configure FastCache by entering the OpenDNS IP: 208.67.222.222, 208.67.220.220
Analogx shows my stats saying - Caching has just saved 6h 17min in my life! in 4weeks 5hours online time.
Start Browsing the Internet faster by saving time thru DNS caching and download AnologX FastCache.
It works,I’ve personally tested it!

Enjoy Web with firefox .......
Change Log.
Firefox 3 is based on the Gecko 1.9 Web rendering platform, which has been under development for the past 32 months. Building on the previous release, Gecko 1.9 has more than 12,000 updates including some major re-architecting to provide improved performance, stability, rendering correctness, and code simplification and sustainability. Firefox 3 has been built on top of this new platform resulting in a more secure, easier to use, more personal product with a lot more under the hood to offer website and Firefox add-on developers.
Improved in Beta 5
Firefox 3 Beta 5 includes more than 750 changes from the previous beta, improving stability and web compatibility, providing platform and user interface enhancements, and resulting in the fastest Firefox ever. Many of these improvements were based on community feedback from the previous beta.
- More Secure
-
- One-click site info: Click the site favicon in the location bar to see who owns the site and to check if your connection is protected from eavesdropping. Identity verification is prominently displayed and easier to understand. When a site uses Extended Validation (EV) SSL certificates, the site favicon button will turn green and show the name of the company you're connected to. (Try it here!)
- Malware Protection: malware protection warns users when they arrive at sites which are known to install viruses, spyware, trojans or other malware. (Try it here!)
- New Web Forgery Protection page: the content of pages suspected as web forgeries is no longer shown. (Try it here!)
- New SSL error pages: clearer and stricter error pages are used when Firefox encounters an invalid SSL certificate. (Try it here!)
- Add-ons and Plugin version check: Firefox now automatically checks add-on and plugin versions and will disable older, insecure versions.
- Secure add-on updates: to improve add-on update security, add-ons that provide updates in an insecure manner will be disabled.
- Anti-virus integration: Firefox will inform anti-virus software when downloading executables.
- Vista Parental Controls: Firefox now respects the Vista system-wide parental control setting for disabling file downloads.
- Effective top-level domain (eTLD) service better restricts cookies and other restricted content to a single domain.
- Better protection against cross-site JSON data leaks.
- Easier to Use
-
- Easier password management: an information bar replaces the old password dialog so you can now save passwords after a successful login.
- Simplified add-on installation: the add-ons whitelist has been removed making it possible to install extensions from third-party sites in fewer clicks.
- New Download Manager: the revised download manager makes it much easier to locate downloaded files, and you can see and search on the name of the website where a file came from. Your active downloads and time remaining are always shown in the status bar as your files download.
- Resumable downloading: users can now resume downloads after restarting the browser or resetting your network connection.
- Full page zoom: from the View menu and via keyboard shortcuts, the new zooming feature lets you zoom in and out of entire pages, scaling the layout, text and images, or optionally only the text size. Your settings will be remembered whenever you return to the site.
- Podcasts and Videocasts can be associated with your media playback tools.
- Tab scrolling and quickmenu: tabs are easier to locate with the new tab scrolling and tab quickmenu.
- Save what you were doing: Firefox will prompt users to save tabs on exit.
- Optimized Open in Tabs behavior: opening a folder of bookmarks in tabs now appends the new tabs rather than overwriting.
- Location and Search bar size can now be customized with a simple resizer item.
- Text selection improvements: multiple text selections can be made with Ctrl/Cmd; double-click drag selects in "word-by-word" mode; triple-clicking selects a paragraph.
- Find toolbar: the Find toolbar now opens with the current selection.
- Plugin management: users can disable individual plugins in the Add-on Manager.
- Improved in Beta 5-Integration with Windows: Firefox now has improved Windows icons, and uses native user interface widgets in the browser and in web forms.
- Improved in Beta 5 -Integration with the Mac: the new Firefox theme makes toolbars, icons, and other user interface elements look like a native OS X application. Firefox also uses OS X widgets and supports Growl for notifications of completed downloads and available updates. A combined back and forward control make it even easier to move between web pages.
- Improved in Beta 5- Integration with Linux: Firefox's default icons, buttons, and menu styles now use the native GTK theme.
- More Personal
-
- Star button: quickly add bookmarks from the location bar with a single click; a second click lets you file and tag them.
- Tags: associate keywords with your bookmarks to sort them by topic.
- Location bar & auto-complete: type in all or part of the title, tag or address of a page to see a list of matches from your history and bookmarks; a new display makes it easier to scan through the matching results and find that page you're looking for. Results are returned according to their frecency (a combination of frequency and recency of visits to that page) ensuring that you're seeing the most relevant matches. An adaptive learning algorithm further tunes the results to your patterns!
- Smart Bookmarks Folder: quickly access your recently bookmarked and tagged pages, as well as your more frequently visited pages with the new smart bookmarks folder on your bookmark toolbar.
- Improved in Beta 5 - Places Organizer: view, organize and search through all of your bookmarks, tags, and browsing history with multiple views and smart folders to store your frequent searches. Create and restore full backups whenever you want.
- Web-based protocol handlers: web applications, such as your favorite webmail provider, can now be used instead of desktop applications for handling mailto: links from other sites. Similar support is available for other protocols (Web applications will have to first enable this by registering as handlers with Firefox).
- Download & Install Add-ons: the Add-ons Manager (Tools > Add-ons) can now be used to download and install a Firefox customization from the thousands of Add-ons available from our community add-ons website. When you first open the Add-ons Manager, a list of recommended Add-ons is shown.
- Easy to use Download Actions: a new Applications preferences pane provides a better UI for configuring handlers for various file types and protocol schemes.
- Improved Platform for Developers
-
- New graphics and font handling: new graphics and text rendering architectures in Gecko 1.9 provides rendering improvements in CSS, SVG as well as improved display of fonts with ligatures and complex scripts.
- Color management: (set gfx.color_management.enabled on in about:config and restart the browser to enable.) Firefox can now adjust images with embedded color profiles.
- Offline support: enables web applications to provide offline functionality (website authors must add support for offline browsing to their site for this feature to be available to users).
- A more complete overview of Firefox 3 for developers is available for website and add-on developers.
- Improved Performance
-
- Improved in Beta 5- Speed: improvements to our JavaScript engine as well as profile guided optimizations have resulted in continued improvements in performance. Compared to Firefox 2, web applications like Google Mail and Zoho Office run twice as fast in Firefox 3 Beta 5, and the popular SunSpider test from Apple shows improvements over previous releases.
- Memory usage: Several new technologies work together to reduce the amount of memory used by Firefox 3 over a web browsing session. Memory cycles are broken and collected by an automated cycle collector, a new memory allocator reduces fragmentation, hundreds of leaks have been fixed, and caching strategies have been tuned.
- Reliability: A user's bookmarks, history, cookies, and preferences are now stored in a transactionally secure database format which will prevent data loss even if their system crashes.
- Update On Firefox 3 Release Candidate 1 : Firefox 3 Release Candidate 1 (Final Version Soon To Be Release)[Dated:19.05.08]

Review:
cFos Broadband Connect is a network driver for very fast PPPoE Internet access, like DSL and Cable. While the driver shipped with Windows can only transfer up to 4.5 Mbyte/s (= 36 Mbit/s), cFos Broadband Connect sends up to 50 Mbyte/s (= 400 Mbit/s), tested with Gigabit LAN, Pentium 4 (3GHz).
cFos Broadband Connect is designed for maximum throughput under minimum CPU load. This leaves your CPU power to the actual Internet application, like media players, etc. At full speed cFos Broadband Connect needs only 3% CPU time.
cFos Broadband Connect supports all important PPPoE parameters. These can easily be configured with the phone number used for the Dial-Up connection. With Auto-Detect cFos Broadband Connect finds all Internet access points connected to your system.
cFos Broadband Connect can also accept incoming calls. This way, you can set up your own PPPoE server.
cFos Broadband Connect allows multiple PPPoE sessions simultaneously. You can use any number of incoming and outgoing sessions. With the 'Service-Name' and 'AC-Name' parameters you can restrict connections to certain services or access points.
cFos Broadband Connect supports NDIS 6 under Vista, thereby providing even more network performance.
cFos Broadband Connect is available either as a 30-day trial version (which can be downloaded for free at http://www.cfos.com/download/download_e.htm ) or as the full version, currently starting at a special offer price of €9,95.
Supported Operating Systems:
Windows Vista, XP and Server 2003, x86 and x64 editions.
